Kerri Stephenson

Writer. Comedian. Big heart. Even bigger forehead.​

Kerri Stephenson is a screenwriter/comedian based in Los Angeles, CA, hailing from the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. She studied screenwriting and film production at Emerson College, and has trained in sketch, improv, character, and stand-up at Uprights Citizen’s Brigade.

As a self proclaimed Weird Black Girl, her writing explores the complexities and absurdities of Black womanhood through a satirical lens. Her work has been recognized by Austin Film Festival, The Television Academy Foundation and her mom’s fridge!

As she and her ragtag campaign team juggle the demands of white conservatives, Black Democrats, and everyone in between, Harmony fumbles spectacularly on her way to making history.
